Brand new genuine OEM Toyota distributor cap for the 16-valve 4A-GE engine (AE92 Corolla only). The distributor cap is a simple part, but it can greatly affect engine operation. A worn-out distributor cap can cause misfires, reducing performance and efficiency.
If you’re noticing engine misfires, check the spark plugs for signs of fuel issues, such as a black and sooty tip. If there are no signs of fuel issues, it’s time to take a look at the ignition system, and the distributor cap is one of the first ones you should take a look at.
Early model year 89 AE92’s may have the 88-89(early) version of the distributor caps. Double check your engine to make sure you are ordering the correct cap.
