Mishimoto’s engine oil cooler places a large cooler in the front bumper, allowing for ample airflow and optimal cooling to keep your engine oil temperature in check. Giving you peace of mind during those spirited driving sessions during hot days when engine temperature can climb quite quickly—be it on the street or at the track.

This engine oil cooler kit includes the necessary components for a seamless bolt-on fitment. However, for turbocharged or supercharged 86, FR-S, or BRZ some custom work for the mounting may be required due to the intercooler necessary for the system. The oil cooler may have to be mounted on the crash bar.

Aside from turbocharged or supercharged engines, the Mishimoto oil cooler kit is a direct fit for the Toyota 86, Scion FR-S, and Subaru BRZ (ZN6 and ZC6 chassis) up to the 2020 model year. See the fitment table for more information.

This oil cooler kit is also available with a thermostatic kit. The thermostat prevents oil from flowing to the cooler until it reaches the designated temperature so you can reach the operating temperature quicker. Also available in silver. Contact us and our team will be happy to help you.

Note that an oil cooler kit will not reduce engine temperature. But instead, it will regulate and keep the engine oil temperature in a safe operating range to ensure longevity and help prevent engine damage. If your 86, FR-S, or BRZ is having overheating issues, we recommend checking the cooling system and/or upgrading to an aluminum radiator.
