Routine Maintenance Instructions
- Remove the filter from the vehicle and use a soft brush or cleaner to eliminate attached dust.
- Evenly spray cleaner on the filter surface and wait for 5-8 minutes.
- Use low-pressure water to rinse from the clean side to the dirty side of the filter to remove dirt.
- After rinsing, gently shake off the water or let it air dry.
- Do not use an air gun or hairdryer, as these can damage the filter material.
- For squeeze lubrication (using K&N 99-5050): Once the filter is dry, apply a thin layer of K&N red oil, covering about 30% of the surface. The oil will seep evenly, ensuring it doesn’t drip.
- Reinstall the cleaned and oiled filter, tightening screws securely.
Important Note:
It is recommended to clean the filter every 5,000 kilometers to ensure the engine breathes smoothly and maintains stable power output.
