We prefer to replace the old heater valve when working in the engine bay as the originals can leak over time, especially when moved and bumped during a motor swap. These are very hard to source in the USA so this is another part we have imported from Japan and are stocking in California!
A new heater valve is a great way to help clean up an engine bay when doing a restoration.
