From the factory, the U.S. GR86/BRZ uses a reverse lamp design nearly identical to the previous generation, with outer reverse lights and a non-functional red reflector in the center. Meanwhile, JDM models feature a working fog light in that same location. This kit replicates that OEM JDM functionality by adding a working center light that activates as a brake light—boosting visibility and mimicking the authentic overseas look.
