Description
Upgrade the lighting in your instrument cluster with this blue-LED replacement bulb from AutoMeter. Designed specifically for most aftermarket gauges (speedometers, in-dash tachometers) that use a T3 wedge base incandescent bulb, this LED version provides improved brightness, lower current draw, and longer lifespan. It is not compatible with digital or LED-lit gauge series (e.g., Cobalt, C2, ES, GS, Elite, Factory Match, NV, Phantom II, Sport-Comp II, Ultra-Lite II).
The bulb replaces standard wedge bulbs such as types 161, 193, 194, and 168. It draws only ~0.06 amps of current and offers a rated life expectancy of around 100,000 hours.

Check that your gauge currently uses a T3 wedge incandescent bulb (types 161/193/194/168) before installing.

Not suitable for gauges that already have LED-backlighting or digital displays.

Installation is simple: remove the old wedge bulb and install this LED in the same socket; if it doesn’t light, try reversing the bulb polarity.
